"You see, we cannot stay home all our lives. We must present ourselves to the world and we must look upon it as an adventure!"

One should always have some flowers at home...even if it's from that lowered branch hanging over the path on your way home (and you look like a fool caught twisting it off at the stem which is unbelievably hard to break off but you keep twisting cos otherwise you've wasted a flower and surely it'll break off in the next twist... how embarrassing. Ah so what...it's on public land..right? :))

The days following Christmas

A trot down to Bally...

Felicity's beloved wedding photo's featuring her husband's amazing chizled cheek bones that could double for a Emporio Armani magazine ad.

3 days after Christmas and the party continues with the same crowd...

Looking out at/admiring our Christmas lights with Champagne in hand...

Our first Christmas tree.

For my brother James leaving OS for a couple of years...I'll miss you sooo much. You're the best little bro in the world xxx

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain Oh and I can see Daniel waving goodbye God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes

They say Spain is pretty though I've never been Well Daniel says it's the best place that he's ever seen Oh and he should know, he's been there enough Lord I miss Daniel, oh I miss him so much

Daniel my brother you are older than me Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal Your eyes have died but you see more than I Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain Oh and I can see Daniel waving goodbye God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes Oh God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes

For some tunes from our native brother Geoffrey Gurrumul. Beautiful without the translation... beautiful with. Great musical influences and lyrics that come from a good, simple, honest heart's interpretation of life.

Who says one voice can't make a difference?

Pooh & his Friends have much wisdom.

"Some people care too much. I think it's called love."............(Piglet)

"It says, 'For Someone Special,'" said Pooh. "That means it's for you!" said Piglet..........(Piglet)

"Pooh," said Rabbit kindly, "you haven't any brain." "I know," said Pooh humbly.........(Rabbit and Pooh)

"Poetry and Hums aren't things which you get, they're things which get you.And all you can do is to go where they can find you.".........(Pooh)

"One can't complain. I have my friends. Someone spoke to me only yesterday."............(Eeyore)

"You can never tell with bees.".......(Pooh)

"Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon.".......(Pooh)

Before beginning a Hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you are looking for before you begin looking for it. -Pooh

It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?"-Winnie the Pooh

Just because an animal is large, it doesn't mean he doesn't want kindness; however big Tigger seems to be, remember that he wants as much kindness as Roo.-Winnie the Pooh

Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.-Winnie the Pooh

When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish.-Winnie the Pooh

When looking at your two paws, as soon as you have decided which of them is the right one, then you can be sure the other one is the left.-Winnie the Pooh

You can't stay in your corner of the forest, waiting for others to come to you; you have to go to them sometimes.-Winnie the Pooh

Modesty

Wow. I've been reading up on modesty lately and its place in other religions and in our changing society. It has to be said- God bless my male friends who uphold the value of modesty which in turns helps me respect my own values and beliefs/God with ease. God bless my female friends who uphold respect for themselves and therefore others in the way they live their lives.
It's good to have the option to live how you want ...not just what society dictates.

What have I learnt lately?

When our friends have a problem we often try to solve it. Essentially they're going to do what resonates with their true self in the end ...so the best we can do is listen to the story they have to share and empower them to make their own decision and encourage morality. Don't we want our friends to remain the individuals that we so love? And also to have them in heaven with us? :)

Catching a train rather than sitting in traffic 2.5 hours a day is much better for my sress levels and the time to read is a big bonus. Not to mention it's much more interesting to watch people and the city doin' its thang rather than intimately get to know a pair of brake lights.

It's good to get serious about the talents we've been given to make a difference in this world. It's also good to find out what makes your friends laugh (in memory of Joe S.)

How easy is it to please little kids? You pay them with love and attention and they're satisfied. They don't even really care for the latest fashion over a good fe fi fo game and a cuddle.

When you are making a good decision your whole body feels good about it. When something isn't right even a little bit... your head, your heart or your gut feels it.

Music changes my mood and motivates me.

Thank God for everything you have... every day.

Woohoo! Spring has kicked in. Last weekend I went for a bushwalk along the harbour foreshore and jumped off rocks into water that hadn't caught up with the Spring celebrations yet...it was freezing. However today the water wasn't too bad and the weather was superb. Good times ahead.

Hoping to get to Byron bay in the next couple of months for a little get away.

Hope to see the Audrey's in November.

Hope to get to Jazz in the vines this October.
