Wow. I've been reading up on modesty lately and its place in other religions and in our changing society. It has to be said- God bless my male friends who uphold the value of modesty which in turns helps me respect my own values and beliefs/God with ease. God bless my female friends who uphold respect for themselves and therefore others in the way they live their lives.
It's good to have the option to live how you want ...not just what society dictates.

What have I learnt lately?
When our friends have a problem we often try to solve it. Essentially they're going to do what resonates with their true self in the end ...so the best we can do is listen to the story they have to share and empower them to make their own decision and encourage morality. Don't we want our friends to remain the individuals that we so love? And also to have them in heaven with us? :)
Catching a train rather than sitting in traffic 2.5 hours a day is much better for my sress levels and the time to read is a big bonus. Not to mention it's much more interesting to watch people and the city doin' its thang rather than intimately get to know a pair of brake lights.
It's good to get serious about the talents we've been given to make a difference in this world. It's also good to find out what makes your friends laugh (in memory of Joe S.)
How easy is it to please little kids? You pay them with love and attention and they're satisfied. They don't even really care for the latest fashion over a good fe fi fo game and a cuddle.
When you are making a good decision your whole body feels good about it. When something isn't right even a little bit... your head, your heart or your gut feels it.
Music changes my mood and motivates me.
Thank God for everything you have... every day.
